Request a room on a lower floor if you have heavy luggage, as upper floors require steep stairs access.

I loved this hotel for its perfect location just a few steps from the bustling streets and incredible landmarks like the anne frank house and beurs van berlage, making it easy to immerse myself in the vibrant city. the nearby cafes were a delightful bonus for taking a break while soaking in the atmosphere.

Couple suitable for a short central stay
Breakfast included was decent, got to enjoy some Nutella, made my mornings a bit brighter. We were in a prime location, just steps from everything important. The bar downstairs was a good spot to unwind after a long day.

Rooms sport clean, modern decor with sizable windows that open, allowing fresh air and street views. Located above a bar-restaurant, it offers a lively atmosphere, ideal for those seeking a vibrant experience.
Experiencing a soupy, humid environment was frustrating, especially since only one out of the three significant windows barely opened. No AC options or adequate airflow made it hard to sleep, and the steep, winding stairs with no lift could be a challenge for anyone with heavy luggage or mobility issues. While the bathroom was decent, infrastructure felt dated with insufficient modern amenities and occasional maintenance oversights, like lukewarm water in the shower.

The twin room was clean and the bed incredibly comfortable, which made for a pleasant night's rest. The location is superb, with major sights just a short walk away, enhancing the overall experience. the attic room I stayed in was quite small, and the steep stairs might pose a challenge for those with heavier luggage. while the breakfast omelettes were tasty, a wider variety of options would have been appreciated.

Great spot for family gatherings
The staff went above and beyond,, bringing us sandwiches to take to the airport since we missed breakfast,, that was a lifesaver! I also appreciated the cleanliness,, everything looked recently decorated and inviting.
The price was a bit steep for what it offered, but still reasonable.

Clean twin room with a modern bathroom. Stairs are very steep without an elevator, which made moving my luggage challenging.

The rooms are clean and modern, with lovely bathrooms that have recently been renovated. I appreciated the big windows in my room that opened up and provided a stunning view overlooking the street below.
The stairs are very steep and narrow, making it a struggle if you've got heavy luggage or if you're any older than 25. There's no elevator, which is a bummer for those on the upper floors. I had a difficult time hauling bags up 49 steps. the shower head wouldn’t stay fixed, so showering was a bit of a hassle. If you're expecting a kettle in your room, you'll want to check out elsewhere because this place doesn't have one.

The location is exceptional, just a short walk to major attractions and close to public transport. the room was cramped for two and the shower lacked sufficient pressure, making for a less than comfortable experience. Staff communication was lacking. despite my complaints about the TV, no resolution came. The breakfast had some tasty options, though a greater variety would have been appreciated.
